FOUNDER

From a background of racing bikes to elite level since the age of 13,  education in Sports Science at Nottingham Trent University and a total of 17 years of working in the cycle industry; from shop floor, mechanic, store management and bike fitter, as well as consultation work with many cycle brands on user experience testing and product design and development, Tim brings a unique combination of skills to bring Avec components into forefront of the industry.

CO-FOUNDER

After gaining a degree in engineering from Cambridge University (with a masters in heart rate variability monitoring), John has since worked in medical device design, cycling and rowing equipment as well as aerospace composites manufacture. As well as a forward's thinking engineer, John is also an accomplished athlete competing as a GB lightweight rower, winning Commonwealth gold in 4s. And an Elite cyclist and Duathlete. John brings a wealth of design and manufacturing composites and 3D printing knowledge to Avec.
